pst to new types of files

I had to reload my computer. I loaded the same old software, but when I tried
to use my old mail and address book pst files I couldn't because they were
showing the address book file now as a type of address book file and I
couldn't even find the email file. How do I import my old pst files into
them. I have outlook 2002 SP3

You don't import from a PST, you open it. Moreover, Outlook keeps all its
data, contacts, mail, calendar, etc., in a single file. There is no
separate address book file, unless you're using the obsolete Personal
Address Book.
