when I insert a tiff file, I do not see the content but can see placing guide
and read its measurement. Why so?
Same file, When Print Preview, I can see tiff file content. when I print, it
prints everything except tiff file content.
when I insert a jpeg file, I can see and print but the file prints with
light pink color background for whole jpeg content.
what setting have changed so I could not see tiff in my publisher. I have
been using it for long time and suddenly it has changed.

Could be the wrong type of .tiff
An inserted TIFF graphic image is the wrong color or displayed as a red "X" in
Publisher

When you open the print dialogue, click advanced print settings, graphic and
fonts tab, clear Do not print any graphics if it is checked.

Look into updating your printer driver or re-installing. It is always best to
completely uninstall your driver before updating or reinstalling

I have follow threat you suggested which says only 8 bit tiff is supported
and I checked the file which is 8 bit, I also created another 8 bit file.
simply, when I insert tiff file, I can not see it. In print preview window,
I can see it. When I print with full resolution graphics or low resolution
graphic, it does not print tiff object, but print everything else including
jpeg objects.

I have also reinstalled printer drivers.

Some of these files are old and in past I had viewed and printed them
several time. Now when I open them, I do not see tiff object in the file, but
can see in print preview window and it does not print tiff object.

Jpeg object prints with light color background like a light layer instead of
clear/white.

Test the .tiff images by opening them in a Paint program, MS Paint will work. If
they are okay in the editing program, "save as" a different file name and insert
them again into Publisher.

By bringing tiff object in Paint and renaming and re-inserting in Publisher
worked.
Now I can see tiff object(file) in Publisher and print as well.

I still wonder what happened that the object was there and I have printed in
past , Now I CAN'T SEE OR PRINT and it is still there in file.
If you have a clue, let me know, shall appreciate.

There are multiple different types of TIFF file. Some work properly in
Publisher. Some work intermittently. Some don't work at all. The ways of
the TIFF file are mysterious.
