Publisher 2003 - save as 2002 version?

I don't see an option to save a Publisher 2003 file to version 2002. I only
see version 2000 in the drop down box.

I have a file in 2003 but the commericial printer only has version 2002.
How can I do this?

Thanks,
Kory

I should have mentioned that the document has lots of graphics so in version
2000 the file is huge (over 213mg) but in version 2003 it is only 43mg. So
I didn't want to save the file in version 2000. I tried using PDFfactory to
save as a PDF file but one of the fonts will NOT embed even though it is
marked to be...

Why is the commericial printer telling me they can't open my file??

I should mention that I used Pack and Go to create the file that I burned to
a CD in version 2003 format.
I told the person at the print shop they might have to copy the files to
their harddrive and change the attributes from"Read Only".

The commercial printer has a Windows 98,not WinXP so when they try to open
the file it doesn't do anything... I thought Publisher 2003 could run on
Win98.

No.
Publisher 2003 requires Windows 2000 SP3 or Windows XP or later.
Publisher 2002 requires Windows 98 or later.

Regardless of the OSes being used, Publisher 2002 and 2003 can almost always
open each others' files seamlessly. When the don't, it's usually caused by
file corruption or another program such as Norton AntiVirus interfering with
Publisher's operation.

I tried this conversion online and it is not embedding the specific font
that I need (called Lovesick AOE)-- is this a problem on the Publisher side
or the Adobe side?
Thanks,

When I open the Publisher 2003 file, that window comes up about fonts and
when I print a Font Report, it shows that the font Lovesick AOE is
embedded.
Do I have to do a "Pack and Go to Commercial Printer" to get it embedded?
Is there some other options I should have set in Publisher?

A font is embedded in Adobe only if it contains a setting by the font vendor that
permits it to be embedded. Embedding prevents font substitution when readers view or
print the file, and ensures that readers see the text in its original font.

True Type fonts can be embedded in Pack and Go.
a.. Unless your commercial printer tells you otherwise, always select Embed TrueType
fonts and Include linked graphics in the Pack and Go Wizard.

If your font isn't embedding, it may be that your font manufacturer has
specified that you are not allowed to embed the font. If that is the case,
the normal procedure AFAIK is to send a copy of the font file(s) along with
your PDF to your commercial printer.
