Publisher error

I was working on a 36 page publication in publisher. I went to print the
document and the printer progress showed 103% done, and while looking at the
print out there were 3 pages that publisher didn't print out. After that, I
attempted to open the file again to see what happened becuase it froze after
saying 103% printed as well.

I wasn't able to open the file at all. I forget the error that it gave me,
but I lost the entire document. My saves periodically so we had a back up
but when i was working with the back up, the same problem happened to me
again and I wasn't able to finish the publication with the backup and had to
recreate the entire 36 pages myself all over again.

Has anyone had this problem before and if so is there any way to prevent
this from happening again?

Try to open the publication in safe mode, if you can open the publication
without the error, it probably is your printer driver.

Go to the manufacturer's web site and look around for an updated driver. It is
always advisable to completely remove your printer driver before
installing/reinstalling
