Publishing problem

With FP2003, I maintain a small web site. Everything has been working fine
for several years.
Yesterday I made a change (name and address of a person listed on one of
the pages) and published (updated) and all went well. Today I keep getting
"You do not have permission to do this operation. Ask administrator to
change your permission and try again". I am using xp, am the only user of
my computer, and the only one with access to the web site.
I have rebooted, updated another web site successfully, and still can't get
into the one mentioned above.
Any suggestions on changing permissions or deleting password and an existing
web site?
