Read only image

I am trying to get a signature into a Word template. I have looked at using a
watermark but that is in a fixed poistion on the page. If there is a larger
address or letter content the signature will look out of place.

I looked at using an image instead which would be easier. However, the image
can be copied out and potentially used. Is there any way to make an image
read only? I tried using section breaks around it and protecting that section
but the only option you are left with annoyingly is copy.

Any ideas?

No matter what protections you apply in Word, the user could alway press
PrintScreen, copy the signature to the clipboard, and make their own graphic
of your signature. If it can be displayed on the screen, it can be copied
and misused. If it can be printed, it can be copied/scanned and misued.

At the end of the day, there is no foolproof way to protect it. That's why I
use my signature sparingly, and only when absolutely necessary (legal
documents), and only entrust it to people who are, well... trustworthy. That
goes for my actual signature as well as digital images of it.

thanks for your help. I just know that I'm going to be asked that question
when I produce the template.
