read-only show with links

I need to create a read only show for my company with a final slide that is
an automatic link to a show that will allow our branch offices to create
their own show to add to ours but not allow them to alter the original show.
Can I do this in Powerpoint?

If the shows that are customized are always saved with the same name and
path, you could create the first slide show and make it read only with a link
to the second editable show. You can set a pssword if you have PPT 2002 or
higher. See:
