Reading PDFs in OWA sent by Entourage

Email Client: Exchange

The following happens for both Entourage 2004 and Entourage 2008.

Attach a PDF to a message being sent in Entourage. If opened in Entourage, the PDF is fine. If opened in Outlook, the PDF is fine. If opened in Outlook Web Access, the PDF file is damaged.

Conversely, same PDF, same OWA server: if PDF sent via Outlook or OWA, the PDF is readable no matter what the reader is using to read the email. If this weren't the case, I would think the problem was the OWA server settings or some such. However, the problem only occurs when the PDF is sent from Entourage.

Just checked using an Exchange 2003 account. I'm forced to download the
PDF before viewing and it views correctly.

What version of Exchange is your company using? When connecting to OWA
are you doing this using Windows or Mac?

What version of Exchange is your company using? When connecting to OWA
are you doing this using Windows or Mac?

Both Entourage and the OWA are on the same server, which is Exchange 2003, Service Pack 2. It doesn't matter whether the OWA is from a Mac or a PC - either way the message is either garbled or unopenable.
