Recieving duplicate emails

Hi
I had a hard drive crash and I have put office back on my new hard drive. I
was able to recover my old .pst file and thus have all my old emails. I use
yahoo as a pop3 account and now every time I open outlook it begins recieving
all the old emails in from yahoo. I thought it would do this just once and
be done, but it begins again each tie I open outlook.

Any suggestions?

Start by creating a new mail profile. Also make sure Outlook is updated
with all current updates.

Hi Brian,

I reinstalled office, which included outlook, I then had to create a new
email account for my yahoo pop3 account and I did download all updates. I
even deleted the new email account and then recreated it. After my data
recovery, I was able to bring back in all my old emails, calander, addresses,
etc. These old messages are in my personal folder and into the in box every
time I open outlook comes 4000+ old messages from yahoo. That is what I
connot stop.

Please advise.
Thanks

What version of Outlook? Have you tried starting from scratch with a new
mail profile?
