Recording telephone conversations

Just listened to a MS recording of Tips to Impress....ID 1032290351 recorded
on 4/26/06 by Scott Rockfeld. In the recording Scott talked about recording
to one note from a telephone via a device available from Radio Shack. I
purchased such a device (model 43-2208) but can't get it to record into
OneNote. I am using a Toshiba M200-S810 and have the mic end plugged into my
mic on tablet. OneNote records fine so that is not the problem. I can
record into OneNote and annotate while it is recording. Wonder if anyone has
ever recorded a phone conversation to OneNote and if so what they used.
Perhaps someone at MS could ask Scott.

When you set up your recording options, which input did you select? When the
RadioShack device is connected and recognized, you should see two input
devices in the audio recording list, your built in microphone and the audio
in device. Make sure the audio in device is selected and then try your test
again.
