Recurring tasks do not show up in the calendar Project 2003

I have set up numerous recurring tasks and they show up in the Gannt chart
calendar but do not show up in the calendar when I select that view. I have
assinged them to that standard calendar and schedule ignores resource
calendars.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Gene,

Expand the recurring tasks and they should show up in the Calendar view.
(Choose the Show button on the toolbar and select All Tasks).

The other possibility is that there are too many tasks to display in the
calendar view. Look at the bottom of the row and see if there is a
small black down pointing arrow. You may need to increase the height of
the rows in the calendar.

That did it, I was looking for sonmething else and should have looked at the

I only see the 1st 2 tasks in the calendar and the erst do not show up and I
do not see a arrow. I strecth the days view and still do not see all tasks.

Hi Gene,

Have you customized the bar display in the calendar view? From the
Calendar view choose Format > Bar Styles and make sure you have a bar
type (line or bar) for the tasks you need to see.

Yes I do. the 1st two recurring tasks appear in the calendar. If I right
click on a specific day and select "task List" all tasks appear there.

Okay, here are some other things to check:
Have you increased the height (not width) of the calendars?
Do you have summary tasks that are not appearing?
Have you hidden tasks in the Gantt chart view?

Yes I did increase the hieght, all summary tasks do seem to appear. I have
not checked each one but look to be all there. I do not have any hidden tasks.

You're welcome and thanks for the feedback. Just to make sure: do you
now have all of your tasks showing in the Calendar view? If not, try:

Format > Layout and check off attempt to fit as many tasks as possible.

Hi Gene,

I assume you want to save a picture of the Calendar View? You can take
a "snap shot" of the calendar view using the Copy Picture button on the
Standard toolbar and save the file as a GIF file. Unfortunately it will
only copy what appears on screen, so if you project extends multiple
months, you can only capture one month at a time in each picture.

Project does have the capability of saving a Project file as a Web Page
(File > Save As Web Page) and once the wizard runs you may add an image
to the web page file. The default export map from the wizard creates
three tables: Task table, Resource Table, and assignment table.
