regex to search for link in attachments?

i don't know vba. i'm trying to find a specific link in emai
attachments and then either execute that link or extract it so it can b
manually clicked.

any ideas

You need to save the attachment as a file, then read its content. If it's
html, you can find a hyperlink with Instr, search for '<a', which is the
beginning of an anker tag.

Please see the object browser (f2), select Attachment left hand, SaveAs
right hand, then press f1 for help.

For reading a file, here's a simple example:
http://www.vboffice.net/sample.html?pub=6&lang=en&mnu=1&smp=14&cmd=showitem

If you want to execute the link manually, create a new html file. You just
need to write the complete anker tag into the file (it starts as mentioned
with <a > and ends with </a>).
