Registration name is wrong.

When I bought and registered my Office XP software I signed in my name but
discovered later that I had mis-spelled my name. Can that be corrected now?
If so, how?
I would like to have the auto-correct working with my name spwelled peoperly
without haveing to correct myself.
Thanks

What is it with this forum? Is this gag? I have asked three questions two
of which I did not receive an answer and the third says that I already
received an answer which I did not andhten I get some crazy thing about bacon
bits. I fail to see what bacon bits has realtive to the question.
Perhaps you can enlighten me.

If you're referring to the information that
appears in File=>Properties=>Author in Word, for
example that's changeable in Tools=>Options=>User Info.

Woodsmith,
It's no gag, you just have to post correctly. Subject line should include a
short description, and detail in the main body of your post. Sort of like
writing a letter or a resume. Include all information about your system/
Windows version/ Office version that you think may apply to your problem or
question.
This question has been asked before and you could do a search first next
time before posting:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx
if you do not get an answer specific to your system, post with all relevant
information.
