Relative Cell Addressing in Word

I know I know, Word does not allow for relative cell addressing in
tables a la Excel, but...

Has anyone found a work around for this?

PS: I use Office XP

You could use the repeat key, [F4]. For instance, if you total up all the number in a column with {=sum(above)}, then you can click into the next cell you want to total and press the [F4] key. This will repeat the last thing you did--which was create a sum above formula

I should've said that to make sure this works, pick Formula from the Table Menu and do the calcualtion from there. If you type the field by hand, it only picks up the text you typed in the field after you insert the brackets with Ctrl + [F9]
Although, you can do it with Insert|Field|Calcualtion successfully
