remove a text document

..Two problems: An old saved text document appears on my monitor when I
access Word and I cannot remove it permanently. I've gone into "My
Documents" and deleted the file but it shows up the next time I open Word.
Also, I cannot save a text document after typing a new one. This prohibits
printing it, too. I am using Office 97 conversion for XP Pro. The system was
working great, then this problem developed. I've tried removing, then
reloading but these same problems persist.

Find and rename normal.dot to .old.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
