Remove line break from notes submitted from PWA

I'd like to expose the notes posted to each task in PWA.

I know the limit is 255 characters which is fine but the problem is that by
default PWA puts a line break in each note post from the resource
[resource name] line break

so it ends up showing as:
[resource name]...

It would be really nice if I could get rid of the line break or even have it
exclude the resource name entirely.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to do that?
