Replacing Text using VBA

Hi,

I'd like to program some VBA code in Word, and I know this forum is fo
Excel, but I thought maybe the programming is similar to Excel fo
this??

I would like to the first 5 letters of a particular word to alway
change to bold formatting when I type them in a document.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you probably need to go to the Word NGs for this. I believe the code
would be quite different from Excel.
