I have cleaned both CD and they go into their cases when done. I have had to reinstall the Office 2000 3 times now. Can disks go bad just by being in their jewel cases?

You could allways copy the cd to hd, assuming you have space
their jewel cases?

may also be effect by changes in temperature, light exposure, etc. Also
suggest you *follow* the suggestion to keep all comments to the same thread,
