Resource Graphs

In the resource graph view, I would like to be able to see the specific tasks
which each of the bars represent. Is there a way to do this without toggling
back and forth between the resource graph view and the gantt?

Hello Aaron,

Split your screen horizontally (Window > Split) . Then click in the
bottom pane and select the Gantt chart view. This will display the
Gantt bars for the tasks that the selected resource is assigned to. It
will not display all tasks.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi Aaron,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

From the Gantt Chart view, Window/Split. Click in the bottom pane to make
it active and then click the Resource Graph button. Click on a task and the
graph will show the resource data - scroll along the bottom left pane to
change resource.

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

Dear Aaron -

You would like to know the task(s) to which the resource is assigned work.

My suggestion is as follows
1. Change your view to Task Usage / Resource Usage
2. Do a window split
3. Click on the bottom pane and change it to Resource Grap
4. Select the resource name in the top pane, and the resource graph at the
bottom pane would be refresh accordingly (You can make use of Go To selected
task in Standard Toolbar to realign your timephased portion)

Please let us know if this helps.

Regards
Sai [PMP]
