the data in my resource pool is getting duplicated the data copies itself

Alas, you've been copying and pasting your resources, thus changing the
unique ID of the resources, and your links get messed up.
It takes some to recover:
- Create a new resource pool with all the resources and their properties
ONCE
- Save it under A DIFFERENT NAME
- Open each of the files, unlink them from the old pool, link them to the
new pool.
