Using Project 2003
It's been so long since I set up a template for my projects that I forgot a
few details. When I set up the template, I set up a resource pool as well.
Now when I open my template, a dialog box opens and I get the following
message:
"This file shares resorces from a resource pool. What do you want to do?"
Then I clicked on "Open resource pool to see assignments across all sharer
files."
Then I added a resource name to the list of resources and the file is read
only.
How can I add a name to this pool and save it?

Karen, Although the pool is opened as read only, you should be able to save
changes made from the actual planning file. You do not need to open the pool
first, that should open automatically when you open the planning file that is
using the pool.
