Resource work

Hey people just have a quick question i have 62 project alll seperat files,
i baselined them all and then when i saved them and closed it and 1 hour
later it got re openned it had dropped exactly 50% of the work from the
resource. does any one know why??

To further all of my problems it has only change the work and kept the units
% the same the task is on fixed duration and not effort driven, need help
really badly

Hi Andrew,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup

No, I don't know why However, with more information we might be able to
help. Try creating a new file with a few tasks and resources. Do what you
did before and see if you get the same results. As Duration = Work X Units,
you cannot have a change to one without one of the other parameters
changing. Unless, somehow, there is some corruption. I hope you have kept
backups of the originals. Try renaming one of them and see if you still
have problems. Give us an example of what the task parameters were before
and after. That'll do for the moment!

mike thank you for the reply bu i have a find out what is doing it but i dont
understand why. if i change the work contour on a task to say bell it make
hours to 50%
