Resources recieving 100% complete task updates

Hi Project Server Group,

My project server resources are currently complaining that they are
recieving email task updates for tasks which are fully complete. To
test this theory I published a project containing task assignments and
requested that "Resource Q" forward me their assignment email.
Excluding the task name, the email detailed the information precisely
as below:
Task Name: Task A
Start: Friday, June 01, 2007 Finish: Friday, June 01, 2007 Work:
3h Remaining work: 0h % Completion: 100

I then added a task to the end of the project (which does not
interefere with the previous task) and republished.
Resource Q recieved another assignment email which was exactly the
same as aforementioned. Dates, work, % completed all the same.

Shouldn't these task updates stop once a task is complete? Is there a
setting or something that I'm missing?

I see this task has 3hrs of work remaining. Can I suggest that work
remaining be set to zero once the task is complete?

Hmmm, I don't think it has Paul, it is just the way it is formatted. I had
to read it a few times myself...

I must confess that I have no ideas though Tom. I generally turn the
assignment email off!
