restore computer to original

I want to restore my Dell computer to its originial configuration.
Subsequently, when I reinstall the Word program (part of my MS OFFICE 2003
package) will Microsoft recognize that I am reinstalling the program on the
same computer or will it tell me I need a new license? Thanks.
