Retaining Envelope Formatting in Word 2000

James Colbert

Hello,

I have a document called Addresses.doc. From this doc, I highlight an
address, click on the envelope icon and print my envelopes.

My problem is this:
I need my return address to print in red. I can easily do this via the
Options\Return Address Font. The problem is that I don't seem to be able to
save this as the default, thus I have to repeat the font color change with
every envelope printing (10 or so a week).

I have tried clicking on the Default button in the Font Tab of the Envelope
Return Address options. The resulting dialog asks if I wish to change the
default envelope return address font and color, and that it will effect all
new documents based on the NORMAL template.

The doc is indeed based on NORMAL template, but the font color change will
not stick. Can anyone instruct me on how to resolve this issue?

Thanks for any help!
James
