Can someone out there pleeeese help me!
My computer was turned off before saving quite a big job
on Publisher 98, is there any way of retrieving my lost
work.
Many Thanks

Publisher keeps a lot of its work in temporary files on the hard disk
instead of in RAM.
Therefore I suggest you search your hard drive(s) for folders called "Temp",
and look in those for files ending in ".TMP". In these, look for files
starting with "PUB" or "PUZ", and try to load them in Publisher.
You may recover some of your document by this method

You may be lucky. Publisher makes *.tmp files that can be re-named to *.pub
and opened and need to be immediately re-saved by doing a SAVE AS. You will
need to find where the *.tmp file resides.
This has saved many people many times.
I would be surprised if the *.tmp file was not there.
