Return Address on Word envelopes and hyphenation

Cannot seem to change the return address when doing an envelope in
Word. Can only use the return address as determined by my user file.
Not handy when you need to change the address from husband and wife to
husband only or wife only. The Help page clearly says that you can
change this but I don't seem to be able to select my default return
address and do it. Any help?

Also, the only way I can hyphenate a document is to do Page View on it
and then it hyphenates. Even though I have it set on Automatic
Hyphenation it still will not do it. Is there some way I can put
Automatic Hyphenate in the Normal style as I think that would solve
the problem. I just don't know how to make this change on the Normal
style.

Many thanks for any help you can give.

Although it may sometimes not make a difference it's always a good idea to
mention version information:) Also - since you refer to "an" envelope I
assume you're using the Tools> Envelopes feature as opposed to merging to
envelopes.

As to the first issue: Make sure you are *not* checking the box to "Use my
address" - with that box cleared you should be able to type whatever return
address you wish. It may also be convenient to add separate entries for your
wife & yourself to the address book, then click the cute little icon
adjacent to the Return Address box to select the appropriate one so as to
not require typing it each time.

On your second point: Keep in mind that hyphenation is far less likely to
occur due to proportional spacing. Beyond that, you might adjust the setting
for the Hyphenation Zone as well as check to make sure that there is no
check in Format> Paragraph> Line & Page Breaks - Do not Hyphenate.

Especially if you're referring to Normal View as opposed to Page Layout
View, however, it doesn't seem abnormal for the hyphenation to occur until
you switch back to Page Layout as the doc doesn't repaginate in Normal. When
you switch back to Page Layout it causes the repagination to occur and is
influenced by the printer driver.

As I understand it, hyphenation is a global setting in the doc, not a Style
attribute. Instead, just the opposite - once Auto Hyphenation is turned On
you can include the Do not Hyphenate attribute in a style.

Stay tuned for other comments as I'm admittedly not the world's greatest
authority on hyphenation:)... Or anything else for that matter!
