Revision History?

In our MS Project 2007 Standard project, users constantly update progress %
on the tasks they work on. Also they track any open issues by entering notes
to a task. Is it possible to get a revision history where I can see which
user updated project plan at what time?

Hi Urs,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

This isn't this is a built in facility, but you could create 2 columns for
the resource to enter the date updated and his name. Incidentally, I would
advise against entering %Complete in favour of Work done and Remaining
Work - Project will compute the %Complete for you.

You might like to have a look at my series on Microsoft Project in the
TechTrax ezine, particularly #27 on progressing projects, at this site:

(Perhaps you'd care to rate the article before leaving the site, :)
Thanks.)

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
