Hi; I messed up real bad here and need to know how to roll back my computer
one day. I am using windows 98. I uninstalled my Microsoft office 2000
professional and now it won't reinstall with the cd I have. It locks up and
dosen't continue.

Windows 98 does not have a "roll back" feature. If you had
Windows XP, then you could have used its "System Restore"
feature.

Would the "system restore" feature bring back the microsoft office 2000 I
deleted? Or how can I get it back if the cd dosen't work?

If you delete a program, you must reinstall it using the
original installation CD. Make sure your Office CD
is pristine clean and does not have scratches.

Is the Office 2000 an Upgrade version by any chance?
