same doc page again and again

Entered information on blank document. Saved to my
documents folder. Now everytime I open word icon the
same information showing up on document1. When I open
new document and click on blank the same information
appears again on this document. How can I clear or delete
this information. Or better yet tell me what I might
have done for this to continue showing up.
