i have to install the office xp again in my computer because it crashed.can i
use the same key number as before or do i have to do something in special?

No, it should work fine. Office XP doesn't have product activation.

Perhaps you are thinking of an earlier version? It was in Office XP
that activation was introduced. (Actually it was in Office 2000 but it
was limited to a few countries.)
