You either *print* to Distiller, or use the Acrobat add-in tools to save the
document as a Word document and print to Distiller. I am not sure where
*saving* to Distiller comes in to it?
If the acrobat add-in is causing problems the chances are that you are using
the wrong or an old version of the add-in.
Crashing Word will leave a mess of temp files on your hard drive that need
deleting - see
