Saving a file directly to a Workspace

Is there a way from office 2007 or other applications to save files directly
to a workspace. For example , I started the word application not be right
clicking in the workspace, but by the start menu. Now I would like to save
the file to my workspace. How would I save my file directly to the workspace?

Note: I am running Vista 64.

Also I see that you do not have support for Vista 64 for file sync and I was
wondering if you were planning to release a service pack with this feature
(like what they did in Onenote 2003 and SP2). Our company is moving to 64
bit OS for the developers and this would be a very nice feature to have. I
would hate to wait for Office 2011 to have this feature.

Thank you

Regarding the first point, this feature will be provided in GrooveIT!
for MyDocs. GrooveIT! for MyDocs Beta Program will start in the coming
weeks.

You can register now on http://www.grooveit.biz to be involved on this
beta program and get access to the product before its official launch.
