Saving File

R

Roger Bell

I have Publisher 2003 which has worked fine up until recently. The problem
is that when I open a previously saved file and work on this with Text and
Graphics, when I go to save the file, it appears to have saved, but when I
open the file again, the changes are missing.

I was wondering whether it could be a Memory problem (500 Megs of RAM on the
Computer) or could it be Publisher itself?

Thanks for any help

Might do some disk clean-up. Especially your temp folder. In Windows Explorer,
type
%temp% in the address bar. Clean up this folder and see if it helps.

Thanks for your advice Mary. Does this mean I can remove all entries in the
Temp Folder or just those with the TMP extension?

Thanks again for your help

I have emptied everything in the temporary folder without issue. I would advise
keeping your Office setup files.
In *My Computer*, right-click your hard drive, properties, click disk clean up.
It may take a while to populate. There will be choices check off if you have
Windows XP. In Vista there will be a scan first.
