Saving graphics

OS: XP SP2
Outlook: MS Office Outlook 2003

When I try to save graphics that are embedded in emails by right-clicking on
the graphic, the only file format option I am given is bmp. Is there a way
that I can change settings so that gif and/or jpg is also an option? I
definitely would like gif as an option so that I may save animated graphics.

Thank you for your assistance.

Thank you so much. It works and I am soooooo excited. There are also a lot
of other neat tricks and articles on the "How-To Outlook" website.

Thanks again, I really appreciate it.

Hi,

Hey tried this and I get this error: 'user defined type not defined'

I'm sure copied it correctly (I got the one to open the message in the
browser to work with not problem.

Is it possible that there is a reference that I need to add?

Thanks!

I had some problems, but got them worked out. The first problem I had was
that I did not copy the full code. The code is very long so it is important
that you drop your cursor into the box with the code; be sure you select all
"CTRL A" and then copy "CTRL C"

When you paste the code into the Visual Editor and Debug it, make sure you
"sign" the macro as instructed here:
http://www.sparnaaij.net/howto/selfcert.htm.

The other problem I had was with getting the Visual Editor to save the
macro, but I stumbled into that somehow.

After creating your macro, you must close Outlook and reopen Outlook and run
the macro, at which time you will be prompted to "trust" your
self-certification.

Hope this helps,

Chris
