Saving to a CD while working on a Document

How can I save to a CD while working on the Document? I am able to save to a
CD by closing Office application like word, and writing from my desktop. But
when I attempt to do so in the application like word it tells me that it is a
read only file. On other machines in the office it works on a new Dell
optiplex with office 2003 it does not. Please help.

Short answer is "You Don't." You may find occasions where it "works",
but the end result will cause you to pull your hair out. Work off the
harddrive or network drive and then burn the final file to the CD.
