Scaling a group of objects

S

Steve

Hi,

I've been working on creating some company banners and they were sized
at 2' X 10'. I've been asked to double the scale now to 4' X 20'.
I've managed to change the Page Size to double, however I don't know
how to double the scale of all the objects at once so that they move
and get placed on the double sized page layout all at once. If anyone
that can help me with this it would be great.

Thanks,

Steve

Ctrl+A to select all
Ctrl+Shift+G to group
Shift + drag the size handle to resize
Text will stay at its original point size; you'll need to edit that
manually (or set the text boxes to AutoFit).

That seems to allow me to stretch everything horizontally, however I
need to scale vertically as well to keep everything into proportion.

After you group all, right-click, format object, Size tab, check Lock aspect
ratio.

Change the height or width or percentage.
