Scrolling text box?

B

I want to create scrolling text over a picture similar to what they have
done on the page at the link below.

about)

I not sure how to do this though. I am using FP2000. I have tried a
scrolling text box but can't seem to change the background. I have tried
nested tables, which I thought was going to work at first but as I added
more text the cell just got bigger instead of giving me the scroll bar.
Could someone please give me some ideas on this? I am using a theme on my
site, and it does not use frames.

Thanks

Hi Brian,

You could create a similar effect using FrontPage 2002.

With an Inline Frame, you could place your image as the Inline Frame background and set the "watermark" property for it.
This would allow the image to remain fixed inside the frame while the scroll bars moved the text inside the frame.

First, thanks for the quick reply. As I mentioned, I'm using FP2000, is this
function available in my version? The nested tables seem to get me close. Is
there no way to get a scrollbar in table cells?
Thanks

Hi Brian,

You can accomplish this in FP2000 using a relative positioned div with
scroll bars.
