Searching footnote/endnote text in Word

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel I want to make sure that, when I use the FIND function, Word is searching ALL of the text in my document, including but not limited to footnotes/endnotes. I don't want to run two different searches, just one, a search of all the text in my document.

How do I do this?

AFAIK, Footnotes & Endnotes are automatically included in F&R operations.
F&R also searches Headers/Footers, Text Boxes, Frames, AutoShapes... Any &
all actual text content in the document. In fact, I'm not sure how to go
about *excluding* them or restricting the search, other than by actually
selecting a specific passage before running F&R.

Exactly what is it that gives you the impression that their content is being
excluded? Make sure to indicate your specific update level of Office as well
as any other pertinent details.

PS: Regarding "In fact, I'm not sure how to go about *excluding* them or
restricting the search", I should have gone on to say "... unless you
explicitly elect to change the option in the F&R dialog".
