sending email

Trying to send an email where I have pasted email addresses from an excel
spreadsheet [prospects] ... when I click send, the "check names" window comes
up. The email addresses / contacts are NOT in my contact list and I am unable
to send.

I am unable to find "workaround" ... please help! Thanks!

when you paste the addresses into the from field, do they look like email
addresses?

when copied and pasted they looked like: (e-mail address removed) [the addresses were not
underlined in blue]

An e-mail address need not be listed in your contact-type folder(s).
The check names is an assist, not a block. What happens when you choose
to send the e-mail regardless of what check names proclaims?
