Sent Fonts to small

Having just converted to a Mac I am stumped by a problem with Entourage
sending fonts that are two small. On a message received on a PC the fonts
are seen as Arial 9 which is too small for old eyes. In the Entourage font
preference the following are the settings:

List items: Verdana font 10
HTML messages (proportional): Arial 12
Plain text (fixed width): Monaco 12
Printed Items: Courier 10

When I get a message back as in a reply with my original message the font is
also very small. How do you change the sent fonts?
