Sent to Mail Recipient

I have Office XP installed from one CD so all parts of the suite should be
the same version. When I click on ‘Send to Mail recipient’ in a Word document
I get the error message ‘Word could not load the e-mail envelope……’
I have been researching this for some time and have tried all the suggested
remedies without success, but have noted that the most likely cause of the
problem is differing versions of Outlook and Word, which should not be the
case. When I open Help/System Information I find that I have entries for both
Office 10, which includes all parts of the suite, and Office 2003 which has
only information for Word, although this is a duplicate of the Office 10 info.
I have concluded that this may be the root of the problem but can not find
any way to remove the suspected rogue 2003 entry. Does anyone agree and have
a lead to the appropriate registry keys.
Incidentally Send to Mail Recipient (for Review) and (As Text) open outlook
as expected.
Sorry for the long post

The point I anm trying to make is that I do not have Word 2003 installed
though it shows up in system information. I have only ever installed Office
XP (2002)
