I've done this before with a mail merge - label template from Word,
list of numbers in Excel, ta da! It's a bit of a kludge, because you
have to create a long list of numbers in Excel, but Excel makes that
very easy with the fill handle (type a 1 and a 2 below each other,
select them, grab the lower right corner of the selection and drag
down until you have enough).
There might be a way to do it in Word using calculated fields or
something, but I've never been interested enough to find out.
