serious error report

Whenever I am in Word or Outlook, I keep getting a serious error report when
opening a file in word or switching to my outlook from another window. This
is getting very frustrating. I already spent $400 on getting my Windows
reformatted, thinking that it had something to do with an old virus. No one
else in my office has this problem, and I never get it at home. PLEASE HELP
ME! I am very frustrated!

1) In the first instance a repair of your office installation, using
installation cd's
2) see help, system file checker - also requires win cd
ie start/run......... sfc /scannow

The exact err.msg might help

What version of Word and Outlook are you using? What patches do you
have installed?

Most importantly, what is the exact error message you are
encountering?
