Sharing resource

Hello

I`ve got 5 tasks running at the same time by the same number of resource.
How can I share this resource for all 5 tasks?

e.g. 5 tasks for 1 person = like 0,2 person per task

I wanna set the real person (1) for each task and then the MSProject make
the rest. Does anybody help me?

Hi Kelson,

Project will not assign resources for you. You have a couple of
options. Select all 5 tasks. Click the Assign Resources button on the
Standard toolbar and in the units field enter 20% (if you have
assignment units set to %) or .20 (if you have assignment units set to
decimal.)

The other option is to assign the resource at 100% or 1 and then use the
resource leveling command to have Project spread the assignments.
However, this will most likely set the tasks to happen in sequence (A
then B then C etc.) rather than all at one time.

Hi all,

It has to be said that this is a far better solution for the project since
now there will be a few tasks finished real early whereas in the 0,2 option
all tasks will finish simultaneously, all just as late.
