Slide advancement

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Power PC I am trying to present a ppt 2008 presentation sent to me by email. Able to open and do slide show but the slide advancement is VERY SLOW 6-15 seconds per slide. Any suggestions?

There's an application in the utilities folder called Activity Monitor.
Use it to tell you whether all of your available RAM is used up, or
whether your processor is maxed out. My hunch is you're using more RAM
than is currently available on your computer.
