Slow dialogue boxes

All -
just upgraded to 2003. When i go to open or save a file, I click the down
arrow to navigate to a different location and it takes minutes for the
dialogue box to respond.
Any ideas?

Standard answer is to open My Computer, and r-click and Disconnect all
unavailable drives.

Thanks - but no drives are connected.
All was well with Office 2000. Upgraded to 2003 and this happened.
