Slow Office Browsing when Opening or Saving documents

When trying to open or save documents from any Office 2003 application
(Word/Outlook) it takes 30 second to 5 minutes to open the next folder either
up or down in the tree.

When Browsing the same tree and network drive from outside of office the
paths open in under 2 seconds.

Help - What is going on and how can I fix?

Double-click on My Computer on your Windows desktop, and disconnect any
mapped network drives that are not currently available.
