Some email messages in Entouage 2004 not readable

SOme email messages that I receive on my computer in the office appear with gibberish instead of readable text. This happens both in html emails as well as plain text but not for all that I receive. The same message reads fine on my laptop. Am I missing a font? Is there a way to tell what I am missing? I have thousands of fonts on my computer that I manage with Suitcase Fusion. I can't turn them all on and I can't figure out what font is needed. Any suggestions?
