Something's VERY wrong!!

I created some files in Publisher 2002, the disk is now corrupted and I
cannot use it anymore. So all I had left was a Publisher 2000 disk and I
installed that onto my new computer. Well, now the files will not open. When
I try to open the files I get a message saying that Publisher cannot open
files from another version. Is there any way to fix this? Thank you.

U need to get a Publisher 2002 CD again and Uninstall Pub 2000 then
re-install 2002.

Its like trying to get size 9 foot into a size 8 (US) shoe. It ain't
gonna fit!

Did u have any form of backup policy for your files?
You may try to recover your old Pub 2002 DOCUMENTS and try reading them
with Pub 2003. as for the Programs tho, I wouldnt even receomend trying
to patch with them, nevermind trying a Downlevel software.

Good luck on getting a good Backup Mechanisim IN place before the next
lesson is learned. PS Backup to File via the Accessories still works!
You might see if you ever did a backup and created a .QIF file

You will not be able to get Publisher 2002 files to open with Publisher
2000, without having someone with Publisher 2002 do a Save As Publisher
2000. Formatting will be lost.

You may be able to get a replacement Publisher 2002 disc from Microsoft -
